AUGUST ACTIVITIES

AUGUST 3rd - TERROR-IFIC SCARE 1 – Halloween is always a great weekend at Jellystone Park. Don’t leave home without your costumes and courage. Kids will love the fun of dressing up for a costume contest and trick or treating. Let’s see how many of you are brave enough to join in the worm/bug eating contest. Put on your best monster face to see which monster is stronger in an apple launching contest. We dare you to face your fears of terror and scares as we go through the Trail of Terror. And for those that are not brave, you can enjoy some not so scary activities such as arts & crafts, bingo, wagon rides, golf cart games and a ride on Yogi’s Express. Enjoy the humor and singing of "BRAD LUZADDER", who leads our Sunday morning worship.

AUGUST 10th – SUPERHERO AND FAIRY TALE WEEKEND- Bring your imagination and share your weekend with superheroes and princesses. Whether you leap from tall buildings or have glass slippers, this is the time for kids to be treated like royalty. Your kids can enjoy tea parties, superhero challenges, movies, mini golf, ice cream, arts and crafts, and much more. Don’t think it is all about the kids this weekend. Parents can enjoy the weekend with bingo, bag tournaments, and golf cart games. The gospel group, "ANDY McCORD TRIO" leads our worship service on Sunday morning.

AUGUST 17th – HOE DOWN WET N’ WILD WEEKEND – Howdy Y’All!!! Get out your cowboy hats and super soakers and enjoy a weekend of good old fashioned wet n’ wild boogying. Head out to pan for gold, get your whistle wet with a chug-a-lug root beer contest, and search for a needle in a hay stack along with bale tossing contests. We will take the super soakers to the field for some fun water wars. Girls, here is your chance to get out those matching shirts and ask your favorite guy to the Sadie Hawkins dance with music by "THE McCOYS". Come and enjoy the famous, "THE SINGING JUBILEES" during our Sunday morning worship of praise. *FLEA MARKET WEEKEND

AUGUST 24th TERROR-IFIC SCARE 2- One weekend is not enough for YOGI BEAR AND BOO BOO. Yogi loves to see the kids all dressed in their Halloween costumes so much that he wants to trick or treat again. We will enjoy a Trunk or Treat. Deck out your golf cart and pass out some candy from the ball field. After the fun of passing out candy, we will judge your cart for the best decorated golf cart. If you dare, take a trip through the "TRAIL OF TERROR" and hope you come out the other side. "HIS WAY II" on Sunday brings our worship of praise into song and music.

AUGUST 31st – LABOR DAY WEEKEND With the season coming to a close, come on out and share some laughter with your family and friends. Kick back and appreciate all the fun the park has to offer. Let the kids take a spin on the rides at the carnival as you savor an elephant ear. We will also enjoy sports tournaments, crafts, giant bingo, wagon rides and so much more. And don’t forget the annual Labor Day Auction. Live music by "LINDA LEE & THE NOBLE CREEK BAND" and "WC & THE FIELD". Our gospel music for the Sunday service provided by "SISTERS X TWO".
